Still lots of winter left and I really hope that you are all totally prepared for a worst case scenario, such as being broke down somewhere, without heat, in sub zero or near zero temps, and the colder it gets outside the more likely this can and will happen.
If you have not done so already please place in your cars and trucks extra blankets, cold weather sleeping bags or both. Also it wouldnt hurt to purchase some hand and feet warmers to keep in your car and truck to give you some added warmth.
In addition to these items be sure to carry some non perishable food and water with you as you never know how long you may be stranded before help arrives. A small metal can or two and candles are also excellent items to include with your "survival" gear.
These few simple items could make the difference between surviving to tell your tale and having your tale told in eulogy.
