Am-Can trucking
Question:
I did a search and found no info on this company. I did find their website. Anyone ever work for this company and what is was/is like working for them? Pay etc? regional? I am still narrowing down the companies to choose from Charles Answer: I worked with Am Can along time back.I was running team and my partner got sick and it was down hill from there.Every time I went out they was putting me with a different senior driver,so they could make the big money and Even when I had my partner we was never assigned a truck always slip seat.I made good money but I like to be assigned a truck and keep my partner.I f you go here you better like Canada (Am =America Can=Canada)This was a long time ago it might be completely different now but Mike Sides (recruiter)is straight up with you.Good Luck Answer: Thanks for the info Hooter. I see that Mike Sides name is still in the advertisement. The ad also says home weekly and school grads welcome. I think I will check and see if they have a regional because i would not like going to canada regularly or slip seating, change partners for that matter. Maybe like you said things have changed. Also I need a company who would reimburse for schooling. The othe companies I am interested in are: tmc(tarping drawback) roehl(no regional here draw back) and USF Glenmoore(seems that they have a regional). I take the permit test next week and go to school december 31st Charles Answer: CharlesX I hope everything works out for you.You had mentioned that Roehl didn't have a regional.I talked to them a long time back and they had one,it was out of the Carnesville,Ga. terminal.Of course it has been a while so they could have droped it I don't know if they still have the terminal in Carnesville,Ga. or not.Like I said Mike Sides is straight up and as long as I can remember they would train students but I don't know about tuition being reimbursed.Good Luck were ever you decide to go Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
