Question:
What Should I Bring with me IM going to schoolup in GreenBay on the 26th for Schneider just wanted to see what I should bring with me I know some of it just wanted see what else whould be helpful thanks Answer: provided by your recruiter. If not call and ask for one. Some items usually not found on the list Prescription medications. Enough to last while you are gone. Or change your prescription to a nation wide pharmacy chain such as Wal Greens or Wal-Mart so you can have half a chance of getting them refilled while on the road. Extra contacts if you wear them. Glasses...even if you wear contacts 100% of the time. Over the counter meds incl Antacids, pain killers, non drowsy cold medicine, 1 or 2 folders to keep all your paperwork/info together that you will get in school and during orientation. BLACK ink pens, med point. Dont get anything expensive. Just some cheap reliable ones like the Bic Stics. I suggest a dozen of these. 2 or 3 cheap plastic 6 inch rulers white out 2-3 notepads. small to med size. Sunglasses at least one pair of leather palm work gloves. Dont spend a lot of money on these either. No more than about $3 a pair. dual powered calculater. get a small one. Also if you have any type of medical condition such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, etc do yourself a favor and get a letter from your treating physician explaining your treatment plan with contact phone numbers in case there are any questions. In addition be sure to have your complete 10 year work history along with refrences and anything else you might need while filling out an application. Whatever you do. Dont forget your driver's lisc and Soc Sec Card. I will always be a mutter trucker at heart. Answer: Without typing out a big long useless list. What you need is about 2 weeks worth of clothing, your toiletries writing material and some pens. A mapbook if you want and a flashlight. Keep it simple you'll be riding in another persons truck in training. Not much room for alot of stuff. Take wahtever you want when you get your own truck. 'Carpe Diem' does not mean 'fish of the day'. "If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles." Answer: Take plenty of money, you never know what may happen, be perpared for the worst. Enough for a grayhound ticket sure beats the thumb anyday.
