i was hanging out wif a grp friends (abt 10 of us) at hougang last night, and then a last minute decison to have supper at 永和油条王 @ geylang lor 9 was made after that.
after supper, i suddenly remembered yangs talked abt the infamous "bermuda triangle" at geylang lor 8 and decided to check it out. the rest of my friends followed me behind which a few of them were pretty clueless abt the geylang scene but wif curiousity flooded their minds.
upon reaching the spot, i quickly ordered a chocolate ice-cream from the uncle and stood one side and watch. but i suddenly realised that my clueless friends did not know how to behave and started talking very loudly like they were in orchard rd...
i was like "oh my gawd!" and asked them to juz own-time-own-target and roam around like the rest of the berm-cladded uncles. but they didnt, and continued to gather in one single large grp and went "hee hee ha ha" like a bunch of teenagers.
soon enuff, a gangster on his "guard duty" approached us and scolded us, "eh! siao-lian eh, li lang mai di-siao-siao hor! jit-dao ko ai zho seng-yi eh hor!!"
i got nothing to say, we were indeed misbehaving and i led the rest of my friends to leave quietly...
