who watched the channel 8 show "the champion" (ren wo ao you in chinese) yesterday night (friday night)?
there's this scene where a average looking guy was interested in joining some cca group.. and the group's leader is a young girl who thinks she is damn bloody chio. the guy asked her if he can join the cca and she rejected him right on the spot. she even said "i won't accept people with ulterior motives joining my cca". she thought the guy was trying to chee hong her hence the "ulterior motives". but the guy didn't show any indication of trying to chee hong her at all.. in fact he appeared sincere in joining the cca, not chee honging.
after he got rejected from joining the cca, his handsome friend appeared. the buay chio act chio and think she's very chio girl (the cca leader) was very excited when she saw the guy. seeing that the 2 guys are friends, she called out to the first guy (who was rejected) and said "hey, actually we can work it out..."
well actually she was the one with the ulterior motive. she wanted to know the handsome guy. she then dumped the average looking guy to the other cca members and paired herself up with the handsome guy.
well, the funny thing is, when i watched this scene, it immediately reminded me of how this is exactly how SG girls behave. i can't help but applaud the fact that channel 8 has hit the nail this time.. with it's art imitating life to a T.
