Is there anyone out there with any good advice for do-it-yourself hair removal in the upper chest, shoulder, back regions? Products/techniques? I have been shaving but find that it is not terribly effective. any help is appreciated.

Take a look at the threads on the Norelco BG2020 and check it on Amazon; there are a lot of reviews there too.
In short, it's the BEST I've used because (if you go slowly and carefully) it doesn't snag, rip or cut!!!
