Shea Butter Soaps: Claus Porto
Question:
I just got back from a wonderful holiday in Portugal. In a small indie shop in Lisbon (in the Alfama district) I bought two lovely soap bars from Claus Porto: Aguia (vetiver) and Favorito (red poppy). Has anyone here tried these or other Claus Porto soap bars? They're available at Lafco New York Answer: They sell them here in Los Angeles at the Sta. Maria Novella/Lafco on Melrose Place. Thanks for reminding me about these good products from Portugal. Answer: I also thought they would be really nice, thanks for reminding me! I look for soaps with shea butter or other good ingredients like that in them and prefer high quality bar soap to shower gels, which contain a lot of extra chemicals and ingredients I don't really want or need. I keep my soap on a rack, so it dries out after each use, and have no problems with bacteria or anything like that. They last longer that way, too. Scented soaps that are good for the skin are my favorite way to pamper or treat myself. Answer: I recently ordered some Trumpers tube shaving cream, and Barclaycrocker.com scent me halp a dozen samples, including about 3 soaps. These soaps were from Roger & Gallet (which I like), but the site does sell Achilles Britto~Claus Porto soaps too, and at a good price. I live in Canada and the shipping was quick and proffessional. Thats my recommendation. Answer: That's an interesting websight, Brut. I've been using Pre de Provence Verbena soap with shea butter, this week. It's citrusy, refreshing and the lather is luxurious. They sell that on there, too. Nice line from the South of France. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
