Kiehls vs. Anthony vs. Zirh
Question:
Any thoughts on the relative merits of these three brands primarily for cleansing, moisturizing, damage repair, less for shaving? Any other brand I should be considering? Answer: Octothorpe got me hooked on Kiehls, not just for the quality, but also for their unscentedness, so Im never concerned whether my shampoo is clashing with my SOTD (How olfactorily anal is THAT!) Answer: i'm a big fan of kiehl's ultimate men's line -- the facial fuel and baobab skin therapy rock. and though you may not be interested, the white eagle shaving cream is very good if you're not a wet shaver (ie, if you don't need a cream to lather furiously with a brush). i'm sampling their blue facial cleansing gel and it's ok too, though i prefer my murad aha/bha cleanser. their alcohol-free men's herbal toner is nice, but for this I prefer Anthony Logistics alcohol-free toner. hth Answer: http://menscience.com/ I am a huge fan, especially their face wash. Nice and neutral as far as fragrance as well. Answer: Kiehls whole line for men is incredible, and the unscented shower gel is great. Answer: You know if you HAVE to use a men's line ... I'd say stay clear of Anthony. Used their stuff for a while and just hated the smell and texture. To be honest, if you care about your skin, there are plenty of great lines that arn't specifically marketed towards men. Eucerin in the drug store has a fantastic line. Vichy, La Roche Posay, Evian, each produce excellent skincare lines. Most importantly, wear sunscreen. Finding a brand you like and will stick with is also important. Kiel's has a large selection of products, none of them gendered, and most are reasonably priced. I don't know much about Zirh, but don't limit your options by only choosing a brand because its designed and marketed toward men Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
