Does anyone know what hair product is used for Brad Pitt's messy hair look?
Maybe like in Fight Club? Basically a texturized, smooth, messy look.

Rather than one product having been used on him for that movie, I'll bet his hair was an issue that required a dozen people, dozens of products, and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of salary for the stylists involved.

I try to do the messy look, kinda like that.
I use either Garnier Surf Hair or this new stuff called "Manga Hair" which is ultra strong hold, you just have to use a little bit, rub it over your hands then I just mess up my hair, stick the front up a little, and boom c'est tout.
Normally, you'll want to use some sort of a hair wax or cream type product rather than gel for this. Gel takes too long to solidify, doesn't hold that messy/spiky look as well, and by the end of the day you have the oh so lovely gel dandruff everywhere!
The garnier stuff is pretty good, cheap, works well, my only complaint is that it smells pretty strong, but once it dries up it isn't noticeable unless someone goes right up and smells your hair.
Everyone loves Brad Pitt in Fight Club, it's funny. I laugh so hard everytime someone says that Brad Pitt in Fight Club was so unbelievably ripped and that's the best physique they've ever seen kind of thing. But, Brad Pitt in that role is most peoples' definition of the charismatic, confident, alpha male character.
