Thanks everyone! There is a very cruddy picture of the ring as my avatar, but I hope to get a better one (picture, that is) soon. Now I just have to get the ring fitted, but that means parting with it for a few weeks. But I just got it... We discussed dates (briefly) and I suggested as early as May. I'm not gettin' any younger, you know. DH2B nearly fell off his chair, so I guess that's a little too early. I just can't wait to make him mine, all mine.

Thanks all! Here's the ring. Unfortunately, I've been without it for almost a month now; it had to be resized. Apparently, DH2B thought I had gorilla hands.
I don't know what my SotbigD will be yet. We're thinking it will be late October, and I tend to have seasonal favourites, by then I'll probably have a whole new list of must-wears!
