Chanel, behind the scenes
Question:
I just saw the second episode of a rather quirky documentary on the Chanel fashion house. It's a series of 5 episodes (26 min. each) entitled "Signé Chanel"; it's produced by ARTE France and directed by Loïc Prigent. The camera follows the creative process of a Haute Couture collection at Rue Cambon 29, starring Karl Lagerfeld and his staff. see some video footage here: http://www.arte-tv.com/fr/connaissan...mC=820332.html Answer: I love that kind of show. There is a pair of movies about St Laurent, one a documentary with interviews of people, archival footage, voiceover and the other is a fly on the wall perspective on his creation of the collection with Loulou de la Falaise Kliesowski or whatever her name is. It's really very detailed and this is a great double feature. unzipped is pretty great too although I wonder if I'd enjoy it as much now that Mizrahi is so sort of overexposed as a "personality" Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
