best hair product
Question:
Hi, guys
I am wondering what is the best styling product for relatively short, thinning hair to help keep it in place. I used to use hair spray, but never really liked it. thanks.

Answer:
Fiber by American Crew. For thinning hair, I would recommend Tea Tree Shaping Cream by Paul Mitchell. Both of these products have awesome staying power, with the Fiber being thicker and more tenacious. The Tea Tree Shaping Cream has an awesome smell that I've always wanted to have in cologne form. Wierd, right? Wait until you smell it. It's simply divine.

Answer:
I had the same problem. I used shaving cream, a razor, and some bronzer.

No more bad hair days!

Answer:
I've been tempted to shave it off, my brother did. But I haven't mustered up the courage yet.

Answer:
If you do, shave it really short and then use lost of moisture. Don't use a shaving oil or the razor will gunk up. Have a hot towel handy for afterwards. Wait an hour then sunless tan/bronze. Only thing, you'll HAVE to shave at least every other day. Also a good post shave regime is a must!

Answer:
Personally, I like it when men keep their hair unless the balding is severe... I think that men who have severe balding look great with a shaved head (a la Patrick Stewart).
Nioxin specializes in thinning hair, and I have male friends that really like their products, so I would recommend that. They have cleansers as well as styling products.

Answer:
Thanks for your input linnea. FYI, I don't see myself shaving my head anytime soon, so I'll definitely check out these products.

Answer:
The nioxin stuff did work well on me. For the record, the balding was weird for me... I had that widow speak patch. A island of hair and could do noting with it. Going bald is a bold move and your personality pulls it off.

Now two things... What is your hair style and color of your hair?

I generally keep my hair relatively short and parted to the right. It is thin enough so that it doesn't stay when I comb it to the right, so my bangs fall on my forehead. My hair color is dark blond with natual highlights.
