Unscented after shave balm
Question:
Sorry if this is a repeated thread, I couldn't find one similar on a search. Anyone recommend a good one? Answer: depends what you mean by "unscented".... often, products will have botanicals added for soothing/healing, which do have a scent, but they aren't added to specifically fragrance the product. Aveda ASB is one that i like, that falls into that camp. However, the scent doesn't last long enough to interfere with frags. Anthony Logistics Alcohol Free Toner works well as as soothing AS, though without the consistency of a balm. Very little if any fragrance on that one, IIRC. Finally, I've been using AS lotions by Muehle-Pinsel (especially the marigold one) that are quite nice - very creamy, but not greasy at all. Again, they have a scent, but not one that lasts long or interferes with fragrances proper. i personally have plans to blend my own, but haven't gotten around to it yet.... when i do i'll post the recipe. HTH Answer: Thanks, but I am specifically looking for one with no fragrance at all so I can spritz some SOTD into it. Answer: You can Google 'Unscented hypoallergenic aftershave' and come up with some very pricey items that may fill the bill. Answer: Thanks, I just ordered some Trumpers unfragranced moisturisern doesn't specify that it is aftershave but its not too expensive so I thought I would give it a try. Answer: I like Art of Shaving unscented after shave balm. Joe Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
