Question:
Here in Orlando, there's the Mall At Millenia for luxury shopping, among other places. Yes, the shops are great...but the building itself is awe-inspiring, a visual stunner. Very futuristic. It's so relaxing just to stroll around this place and take everything in. It's FUN.
As far as dining goes, The Cheesecake factory takes the cake...their meat loaf is to die for. The Blue Martini bar is an attraction in itself, but you better have the moolah to pay for the drink$! ($$ better spent on frags, IMO).

I attended several business Christmas parties on the top floor of South Tower at the World Trade center. a few exquisite sunsets.
I don't get out much but NYC has spent oceans of money to keep itself spiffy shiny and the new architecture (the Planetarium) are of course World class.
