Fragranced Ironing Water
Question:
Has anyone spent money on buying this stuff?
My question--------How do you make your own fragranced ironing water?
Is it just a case of adding your favourite scent to some water and shaking . I hear distilled water is best.
Surely this is the answer to our longevity queries!

Answer:
I have purchased fragranced ironing water (from Williams Sonoma) and even though the variety of scents are limited, atleast they don't smell as bad as some of the more popular US products on the market (Febreze makes me sick each time I smell it...)
I'm sure that more experienced fragrance creators here at BN can advise you on 'making your own', but I would think BE CAREFUL, some scents STAIN CLOTHES and I think you might want to test out the scent/water combo before you ruin your iron & your clothes on the wrong combo.
I think a great scent for ironing water would be a citrus based one (Concentree D'Orange Verte, perhaps?).

Answer:
But don't we all spray our clothing when spraying upon ourselves?
I've emptied a cheap Hugo sample into a glass of water and will start ironing now!
Here goes.......................?

Answer:
Sounds interesting, let us know how it turns out! I might try it myself (on an old shirt first)

Answer:
The hugo scent and water turned a yucky yellowy urine colour overnight. Be warned................!
