debating to get matching deodorants - Page 2
Question:
Get Mennen UNscented (or something similar). Speaking as a woman, I have to say that scented antiperspirants and deodourants are a no-go. Really. The whole apocrine gland chemistry combined with the chemicals necessary to create an effective antiperspirant/deodourant make for a fragranced product that is usually at least a bit unpleasant. The whole blast of heated scent from the pits just doesn't work. Stick with paying for product effectiveness, and go with unscented. That is the sound of my Right Guard Sport 'Fresh' hitting the waste basket. Unsented or nothing from here on out. Thanks for the tip Ms. Mongoose. Answer: I'm a big fan of the matching deodorant - and they all seem to be less harsh than the drugstore brands. I can't wear antiperspirant, and it's tough to find a scent-neutral deodorant, so I like to layer whatever frag I'm wearing. Right now, I use 212 Men, L'Eau d'Issey PH, Paco Rabanne PH, and Azzaro Visit deodorants in addition to the EDT. I actually like the deo of Visit better than the juice. With other fragrances I like Adidas "Team Force" - it's neutral enough to work with "real" scents. Answer: hey baker i just got issey miyake EDT with a deodorant in the set. i haven't tried it on yet, but i don't really smell much of Issey in it, smells rather plain... could be my nose right now, i just got back from testing few colognes. but i will try it out. oh by the way, the other two deodroants for guess and platinum are pretty nice. HOWEVER, they do not work well when im sweating up a storm at practice. but then i apply the deodorants about 7 hours before so that may be the reason. other than that, they add NICELY to the EDT. I love using them because i know i smell like that one cologne all over. a nice feeling... i don't know. im just picky like that, heh. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
