High-tech toilet seats, American-style....
Question:
For years, Japanese throne-maker Toto (with its Neorest model) has basically been the only game in town when it comes to high-tech butt-spraying toilet seats in the US market. After all, the Japanese love their gadgets, even in the bathroom.
But Kohler, the largest manufacturer of toilets in the US market, just came in to poop on Toto's party (pun intended) with their new C3 toilet seats. Designed to fit most popular elongated bowl toilets (Kohler or otherwise), the $750/$1300 seats will warm up the water and spray off your butt without the need for unsightly toilet paper. Both have lighted LED rims, and the $1300 model even deodorizes! One word of warning, though: you'll need an electrical outlet directly behind the toilet (may I suggest the Kohler Cimarron with Class Five flushing technology?) for these superseats to function at all.
To be honest, though, I'm just sticking with plain ol' Charmin: after all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
