Favorite perfumed food?
Question:
so, ok then it's not entirely off topic, but hey...i'll start (anything that can be eaten!) :
Flavigny Pastilles
The fruit of the Syzygium jambos (aka: chom pu or chom-phu, rose apple, Malay apple, Malabar plum, jambu, and pomarrosa)..but only when it's red or pink!

Answer:
Parma Violet Cremes - but only in dark chocolate (anything else is an abomination)
Roast leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary (this reminds me of Villoresi Spezie, or is it vice-versa).
Most things from North Africa, all that cumin, saffron, cinnamon, lemon - hmm chicken tagine ...

Answer:
I am a bit of a foodie... I love the smell of
Vanilla - coming from the the Creme Brulee
Pandan Leaves - used widely in southeast Asia to add fragant to the rice, drinks and cakes
Osmanthus - lovely to be served on its own as tea and incorporated into Chinese Dessert (osmanthus red bean pudding)
Jasmine, Roses and Chrysanthum tea... and coffee
I also love the smell of the bakery and when people cooking caramelized nuts

Answer:
Mulled wine.
Chai tea.
Gulab Jamun (sweet milky dumplings) in rose-flavored syrup.
Raw shizo leaves in various japanese dishes.
Spicy pumpkin pie.
Violet-scented gum is sort of yuck, yet oddly appealing.
(Actually, thinking about this more, if you adopt a sufficiently open-minded view of perfume, then all food is "perfumed" -- for better or, in the case of Durian fruit, worse...)

Answer:
i've heard of atrocities such as saffron being used in fragrance.
But if i think of saffron, nothing can beat a Paella marinera with a pitcher of ice cold Sangria red!

Answer:
I once had a wonderful rose-scented white nougat candy with pistachios dotted throughout. Someone brought it to a party. I've been looking for more of it ever since! It was from an Indian (East Indian) shop, they said.
Also great: Kheer scented with rosewater and whole cardamom pods - again, from India.
I used to be able to get tiny mini baklavas which were drenched in rosewatered honey. They were fantastic.
And of course, Ibarra hot chocolate, which is mixed with cinnamon.

Answer:
Real Turkish Delight - the rose flavored ones...yum!

Answer:
Where do you get the violet chocolates???? That's a must try.
On a more pedestrian note, orange blossom honey.

Answer:
Almond cookies, chocolate covered cherries, rum or Amaretto liquor, lime in the coconut. Many fruits.
