Two Truths and a Lie - Page 22
Question:
Hahahah! Well i can say that ONE of you is right! Ok, No. 1 is the lie! Apart from a light salt and peppering in my beard, Im a natural brunette! No. 2 is true. I designed a Europe t-shirt to be sold at the Hard Rock Cafe in Roma this past January. No. 3 is true. When my folks split when I was a baby, one parent nabbed me and left the country (Greece) without the knowledge and consent of the other. For Greece in the early 70's - that was a BIG thing. It was 22 years until I was reunited with my other parent. Alrighty...Whos next? Answer: Tsk, tsk, tsk. People are forgetting the first rule of the fight club, err ... game. You must post three statements of your own! Answer: 1. I once played a henchman on a TV show opposite Ice-T, who played the noble hero. In one of the action sequences, a steel barrel flew through the air and and missed my head by inches. The stunt coordinator--or whatever his titlle was-- freaked out at the near-accident. I wasn't even aware of it until he came running out and asked if I was ok. 2. I went skydiving a year to the day after my girlfriend died. I couldn't bring myself to go to a church and wanted the gods (or whatever) to have a crack at me, as well. The lady in the wheelchair (!) who handed out the parachutes, had the same uncommon name as my girlfriend. It was my first (and only) time jumping, but I felt no fear. 3. I had an affair with my ex-wife, some three years after we divorced. I must have been out of my mind to propositon her, as she was re-married, and her husband was a large and hefty man; but when she agreed, I was not all that surprised. Cheers, Mario Answer: 3 sounds likely. 1 sounds so unlikely it must be true. So 2 is the lie. Answer: 2 is the likely lie Answer: #1 is true, the name of the series was ' Players' and I can't remember if it lasted for even one season. Very dumb writing. I'd give anything for Indiscreet and Dimitri to be right. Unfortunately you're not. # 2 is true. # 3 is the lie. I did run into my ex and her new husband--who was a nice enough guy but a rather wimpy type. I was very surprised when she called me the next day and propositioned me to go off to the mountains with her for a hot weekend. I turned her down because I had a GF at the time and couldn't work out the logistics-- plus cheating with one's ex-wife felt rather pathetic. Not as pathetic and horrific as #2 , though. Well there's one thing to be said for grief, it kills the fear of your own death--at least for a while. Amazing the things we have to go through in this life, Mario.
