Shades, the office where I'll be is pretty casual and allows open-toe shoes...
And, Musse, I WISH I could buy both, but for once I actually have to restrain myself. I told myself when I started school I would allow myself to splurge on one fancy pair of shoes per semester when my loan money came in. See, a crazy shoe person must set limits for herself.
(But this does let me know my fellow Basenoters are starting to know me way too well! )

I'm ordering the white ones right now--one of my best friends also helped to seal the deal. Plus, I saw the white ones back in the spring and have been dreaming of them for quite a while.
I'm not sure how many pairs of shoes I have. This will only be the second pair I've spent over $200 on though. I wish I could afford tons of expensive shoes! Alas, I cannot.

The white ones I would only wear with white slacks, and only with a french pedicure. White shoes with skirts visually shorten the leg by cutting it off at the ankle. Even with white or pastel skirts, a nude shoe is immensely more flattering.
For office wear, never wear anything so sexy that a senoir woman will feel unsexy by comparison, or that would cause a senoir man to notice what he sees more than what he hears.

i think you might get more out of the white ones, the black ones are ok but black(if shiny) as a color seems better for nighttime and with that desing, they won't cut it for a sexy night out, they seem more office and everyday, so that's why the whites will be a fit in.
