#1: The Beatles, #2: Pink Floyd: Agree? - Page 2
Question:
Led Zeppelin is #1.

Answer:
Led Zeppelin
Bon Jovi
Guns and Roses
Led Zeppelin &
Led Zeppelin

Answer:
This reminds me of THE question of the nineties: What band's better? Blur or Oasis?
Well, of all the great, great british bands they had to choose exactly these two posers. What a shame!
When I get asked which was the better band, I reply that of all the british bands it was exactly Blur and Oasis that nerved the crap out of me!
Now, Beatles or Floyd?
NICK DRAKE!

Answer:
I'm not a huge fan of the classics, but because I'm so into other types of music, I'll often hear a more modern rework of a classic tune. There's a bootleg of the Beatles track "Tomorrow Never Knows" that's been floating around lately, that I need to get my hands on, but I'll probably never will.

And there's a rework of the track "Proper Education" by Pink Floyd that's been getting a ton of airplay on BBC radio, thought I'm not a huge fan.

As for which one is better...I'd say Beatles cuz I liked John Lennon's solo career, and I watched "The Wall" by PF, he has one really nasty voice, sorry.

Answer:
Boy, some of you feel really strongly about this! Naw, I'm just messin' with ya.

Answer:
I wonder if Pink Floyd would even agree. They have to know how much they suck after listening to themselves for so long.
The Beatles, well yeah, they were a great band, maybe not the best, but right up there with the Velvet Underground, the Who, the Stones, the Clash, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Cap'n Beefheart, the Sex Pistols, Chuck Berry, the Kinks, and all of the thousands of other bands and artists who make Pink Floyd look like the boring pile of steaming excrement they are.

Answer:
Led Zep, Cream, Stones. Beatles for their creativity, just not heavy enough for me. I saw them all. I saw Led Zep and Cream's first performances in the U.S. and I worked security for Led Zep in New York. I could tell you guys some amazing stories.

Answer:
Hot damn, Stu's a rocker! But uhh yeah....I like pink floyd better. The Wall is amazing. Get drunk and watch the movie. I promise you'll not live your life the same way after that.

Answer:
The Who is pretty up there, alright, can't believe I forgot them.

Especially if they are about Zeppelin.
I was too young to ever see them. But i did see Jimmy Page on his only solo (Outrider) tour. He was amazing. Actually it was 1 and a 1/4 of Zeppelin because Jason Bonham was on drums.
