Question:
Just last week, I received a lovely shipment from www.lusciouscargo.com (TDC Bois d'Iris plus a generous selection of samples).
So yesterday and today I've tried to pop back to the website -- blame those samples! -- and it's a dead page ("Notice: This domain name expired on 03/02/07 and is pending renewal or deletion"). I emailed them just to make sure they were aware of the issue, and the email bounced back, too.
I don't want to sound a false alarm: the website probably isn't dead, it's just resting. Hopefully they'll be up and running again very soon. They seem like one of the nicest online vendors for high-end/niche fragrances, and it would be a shame if there's any less temporary problem...

Whoever was in charge of the site forgot to renew the domain name....not really a big deal but unless they get it back quickly they may have trouble getting it back if someone else snatches it up.

the page that does open says that luscious cargo is parked free. In the web development work I've done I've seen this during switching servers/providers and may have something to do with re-registering the name. The keyword I think is parked.
I don't get that message if I go to an old link taken down. I usually get a lot of generic crap.

I noticed this yesterday as well. It would suck for them if someone else snatched their name. My dealings with them were always pleasant. I hope they're back soon.
