My wife may be buying a 2007 Murano. Any comments on the Muranos?

A really good friend of mine has a 2006 Murano. Very nice, reliable car.
I have a Nissan Frontier pickup. My second Nissan, and no problems at all.

We tried out a 2005 Murano but ended up with a 2004 Lexus LX450 for my wife, who subsequently traded it up for a 2005 Mercedes 350 diesel sedan.
We found the Murano quite powerful, smooth and interesting with the
unique "infinite" gearing but a bit too tight in carry room for our immediate purposes. My subsequent acquisition of a Tundra pickup solved the carry room problem and allowed the trade for the Mercedes.
I wouldn't rule out a Murano in our future though. Well built and stylish.

Thanks y'all. We took a test drive in one today and were dully impressed. Looks like my DW is getting a new vehicle and she deserves one as she's been driving a 1997 Pontiac GP since we bought it new.
