Well I couldn't walk in 'em, but then I struggle to walk in anything higher than my cowboy boots. I have a cupboard full of really fun heels I never wear because after 10 minutes, it feels as though someone has been beating the balls of my feet with a baseball bat.
Seriously though, some of the shoes out there are like the Western equivalent of Chinese foot binding.

Good god. That girl has clearly been at this particular pose for a long, long time. She looks exhausted, if game 'til the end. And those are heinously ugly shoes. I happen to like really high heels--probably because I'm selective about when I wear them--but these... why MUST people confuse "previously unconsidered hallucinogen-induced nightmare" with "creative"?!
