Black Power Rangers
Question:
http://myspace.com/blackpowerrangers Gangster Tip is awesome. They're all amazing. Answer: Warning: That site and the "music" is so rude. It's woman-disrespecting, violence/hate-promoting, vulgar, obscene rap and comments from the typical culture that embraces it. The world would be a better place without this shit. Couldnt agree with you more. Answer: Then don't listen to it. Nobody is forcing you to. He posted the link, and you followed. The world would be a better place without comments like that. That being said, listening to them gave me my first laugh of the day. Seriously, I can't see anyone being serious about them, and I don't think MadScientist was. - Rich Answer: Originally Posted by _R$_ Then don't listen to it. I don't. "Blackpowerrangers" sounds like something that might be funny. I didn't find it to be funny at all. I found it to be quite offensive. Originally Posted by _R$_ Seriously, I can't see anyone being serious about them I know you're not that naive Rich. That type of rap is very popular and has a big influence with certain groups of people in this country. I was quite serious about my opinion and my warning. Originally Posted by _R$_ The world would be a better place without comments like that. Free speech. I don't deny their right to say what they want and they or you won't deny me my right to say that it's a menace to society. If someone is going to post a link here to something so vile, I'm going to try to warn others who might think like me - that it might be some type of funny video or who knows what. Ten seconds into the auto-start rap song, they are speaking strong profanity. My warning was for those of us who would rather not listen to such trash. "woman-disrespecting, violence/hate-promoting, vulgar, obscene rap" - I think my description of what I heard is pretty accurate. How would you describe it? "The world would be a better place without this shit." - It deserved repeating. ------------ Don't take this personally Rich. You have your opinion, I have mine. I can't stand this type of rap. That link lead me to something that I was not at all expecting. I felt tricked because had I suspected what it would lead me to, I would NOT have clicked on it. Answer: I understand your argument completely MS, and I know no disrespect was meant. But seriously, listen to the lyrics. No one I know would listen to this. I know a lot of people who listen to rap. I know lots of guys who follow underground rap artists, and I'm sure that if I played this for them, they'd laugh to and start talking about what a bland and no talent rap group this is. This type of rap isn't popular. Believe me, it isn't. I still don't understand your "world would be a better place" argument. If you say it, it's free speech, but if I say it, I'm restricting your free speech in some way? Don't understand that one. you won't deny me my right to say that it's a menace to society. The world is better off that we have bad things in it. Then we wouldn't appreciate the good things so much. Think about it. If everyone had access to Serge Lutens, L'Artisan, or Le Labo, would it be unique and good? Yes, but then we would have nothing bad to compare it to. If everyone could skate like Tony Hawk, we wouldn't be amazed by his ability. If everyone could Rap like Jay-Z, Eminem, or Nelly, they wouldn't have multi platinum CD's. I'm glad shitty groups like this exist. They give us a laugh. The world is a better place with this shit. - Rich BTW, I really like your current rotation, good mix of classics and new blood, even though I'm not a fan of JHL. Answer: The concept of satire seems to have completely flown over MadScientist's head. Answer: this is going nowhere positive, it's locked. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
