I wasnt' dissing or making a judgment about s/m btw, simply trying to be accurate about the imagery of my nude series.
bored? no. sophisticated? a bit. obsessive. YES. offended? nah.

Answer:
Hee, hee. Eluard's photos are really nice. They remind me of ...forgive me if I can't remember the name - a French guy - Doisneau, maybe. Pictures from the thirties or forties...anyhow, have fun.

Answer:
I used to sketch frequently, and do some cg... now I pretty much just play guitar.

Oh man I'm pumped to play that one. Gonna use some big ass delay on it. Put it on the neck pickup and roll the tone all the way back and give it that fat bass-y sound!!!

See where my finger is now? Yes, you are quite correct and I apologise for that. I have been at work all day and though I’ve been able to look in here for seconds at a time, I’ve had no time to post a substantial or appreciative response to so many kind words. So, thank you Fredericktoo, for the doffing of the chapeau — coming from you, with your expertise, that is quite a compliment! I had only enough time during the day to add a brief but enthusiastic “yes, please” to Rhiannon’s suggestion of a shot with rtamara: that seemed to require immediate and prompt seconding lest it be taken back!
On the queries as to general intent or influence. I have a liking for the standard greats of photography like Cartier-Bresson or Kertész but I haven’t been influenced by them. I was more influenced by Jean-Loup Sieff and his elegant 60s model shots. I really liked the way he used the grain of the film as an erotic element. But I was always more taken by the American photographers: Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander and Walter Klein (great shots of New York and Rome) and, most of all, by Ralph Gibson. For me Gibson had a sensuality that the others lacked, and when I started taking photographs I saw him as the one who had gone furthest in the direction that I wanted to go.
Because of this I am a little bit of a purist with respect to nudes. I think they rarely work in colour, and in black and white they require one to use the contrast very carefully. I also think that beauty is really the enemy of the nude photograph: the photo is a struggle between beauty and pure sculptural form and beauty can’t be allowed to win. (This being said, below is another photo, in colour, and where I had no control of the lighting. But I still think the composition ‘works’ to some limited extent.)
So I used for these photos a Leica M2 and M3 mostly — and then did the development myself.

Answer:
thats an exquisite shot - Leica mmm - which lens did you use and what settings do you use for something like this? When I was much younger I had a darkroom, then we used it as designed as a bedroom for my son. I had to stop photography after going to school and obsessively reading everything till I found myself explain recipocity to my cohorts at work who just wanted to take better snapshots.
It's always been a dream of mine to own a Leica rangefinder camera.

Answer:
There is something very special about Leica cameras and lenses. It is no accident that every one of the photographers that I mentioned above used a Leica. The cameras produce photographs that have a touch of magic. Lenses that I liked included a 35mm and 90mm Summicron. These lenses were unbelievably sharp and the colour rendition is not to be believed. I’ll try to post some photographs that display the Leica quality at its best. Below are two examples to begin (the colour one is with the 90mm).

Here is another Leica shot:
