But I didn't look it up in the dictionary! I should have! I read a medical text, and they are notoriously wordy and obtuse. I still got the notion that pandemic implied a condition with a permanent presence in a population and endemic just meant an illness that is common only in certain places, like the Amazon basin or something similiar. Eh, I hate infectious disease anyway. The dictionary.com puts it concisely, pretty much as pandemic=big epidemic.....I lose $10,000. I could've used that money to buy dogfood. As for corn, we don't digest intact kernels, but we certainly digest ground corn, or well chewed corn. My boys don't like corn--never had, so I never had that show up in a diaper. What about the legendary complete protein combination of corn and beans that has kept so many Mexicans alive? I board him at Noah's Ark when I'm on vacation, and he gets all his yearly shots at that time. I don't want to go to Vegas, either. I went 15 years ago and it creeped me completely out.
