Question:
Anyone familiar with those flavoured Absolut Vodkas?
There's Vanilia, Kurrent (Black Current), Peppar, Citron and Mandarin.
Vanilla is probably preferable in winter and Citron in summertime. I would love to buy the "Absolut - Five", the miniature set, but it's quite hard to get here and big bottles at the moment are a no-no.

I've used the vanilla flavor quite a bit. It's one of the key ingredients in the Milky Way Martinis that I'm quite fond of ... I've also mixed it with diet Pepsi

There's a bar in Emporia, KS that sells Absolut for fairly cheap. I used to drink the vanilla & diet coke, or citron & tonic depending on my mood. Quite tasty!!! I'd like to try a bloody mary made w/ the peppar.

I just read that vodka can be stored in the freezer. -18 degrees celsius. I've never put a bottle in the freezer. Hope my teeth don't freeze when drinking out of da freeza ....

I keep both gin and vodka in the freezer. If you make a mixed drink with ice, it will be stronger because the ice doesn't melt as quickly. On the other hand, the vodka kept in the freezer is quite palatable without any ice.

Yes freeze your vodka if you wish, it is quite chilly then. The Absolut Citron isn't bad at all, actually great in a screwdriver (I know, I know, it's a girls drink apparently (has nobody read Catcher in the Rye?)), my mix calls for pulpy orange juice, Absolut Citron, and lemon juice. Mmm mmm good! I also like the non-flavored Absolut, not bad for the price at all!

I'm a Grey Goose girl but I do keep a bottle of Absolut Mandarin to make Flirtini's. Yes, I always keep my bottles of Vodka in the freezer.

By all means, as so many have said - the freezer is indeed the proper storage area.
I usually keep a bottle of Peppar and others in there but rarely touch them.
And no, i'm not telling what the others are. No one is allowed to drink vodka this good, haha! (except me)

Bought the Vanilia flavour only because there's a lot of snow recently here in austria. Good one! The only problem is I'm constantly drunk in the evening. That's noo goood!
