I guess it depends..thought a 5'0 girl wearing a 6 inch heel....it looks funny and you can tell she's trying to make for the short height...it doesn't look good...being comfortable and confident in your body is the most important thing. And why is it fat people always wear them in pastel colours? I'm a fat person, and I don't wear leggings at all, pastel or otherwise. That's part of the bummer of a size 16, anything unstructured looks sloppy if its loose, and obscene if it's snug. The empire waist I love! I figure if everyone looks pregnant, I'll blend in better. Although I don't wear them that often, I love high heels, and have no problems with them (I'm short: 158cm/5'2"), but I just don't go higher than 3.5"; on me, these LOOK like 4" or 4.5" heels. I think that if you break with a certain heel-height:foot length ratio--I'm guessing that your heel height should not exceed half your shoe size--you're going to waddle or hobble. But you know, a LOT of women, regardless of height, just don't handle high heels that well; they often look uncomfortable, if not in actual pain, as they stump heavily along, leaning slightly forward, in order to try and displace some of the weight from their miserable feet. And let's face it, an awkward walk/pained expression shouldn't be the reason people notice that you're wearing high heels Answer: @ Shycat - must be a lower class English thing! I don't see it much in London but if I go to visit my parents in SW England there are always a bunch of whale-like women (much bigger than size 16) wobbling around the town centre in pastel pink or white leggings. @ nasmadi - agreed on the heels. I have a cupboard full of boots I don't wear because after 10 minutes walking on pavements it feels as though someone has taken a tyre iron to the balls of my feet. Fortunately I'm 5'7" so I can get away with not wearing them. I don't know how some women can live in heels though. Samadi, have a look here (it's some crappy footage and i don't have time to look for better, first one i came across): --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5T70I8aI2o Don't look at Tara, ignore the blonde on her right and the black dress behind her. Pay attention to the black dress on the left and the way she moves those times you can see her. Do you agree she is 'superior'? Oh, not all of it, but i'm not going to mark out the seconds on the track ... i'm just trying to figure out if we're anywhere in the same ballpark. Answer: My favorite ladies who can rock the high heels are the hyperkinetic dancers that Prince had during his halftime show at the Super Bowl. They dancers are identical twins with long hair and I was in amazement the whole time during the show...both at Prince's awesomeness as well as their unbelievable moves. Crazy! Yeah..how about 43 secs to about 47 secs....She is a very energtic dancer and can seem to move very well in heels. I just thought shorter girls should stay away from really high heels....cuz the ones I've seen can't pull them off very well...thought I think taller girl look really good in them...making their already long legs....longer. Haha! Seriously. There are a few other very important sections, but that's a prime choice. See, i'm glad you're speaking from your gut and not your head like some people spew up around here. Still, there's lots going on there besides those four seconds. Anyway, we're on the same page. You have a good one, ya hear! Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
