Sunscreen
Question:
I am going on a vacation to the US Virgin Islands in May. Can anyone recommend a good non-greasy sunscreen which is sold in the US? Answer: The US market has just recently introduced the spray sunblock (as opposed to lotion). Here is an example: http://www.amazon.com/Neutrogena-Hea...632416-6186569 Keep in mind that sunblock needs about 30 mins to react with your skin before it is effective. Answer: An extremely helpful SA at Sephora tipped me off to Jack Black sunscreen (Sephora doesn't even carry Jack Black products, so I considered her recommendation to be pretty genuine...) - link here: http://www.getjackblack.com/jb/catal...6BB387&loc= c They also carry it a Neimans, if you want to buy in person. Smells pretty nice too, although for us Basenoters it might 'interfere' with your SOTD (smile) And, more importantly, it does NOT run into your eyes, when you're sweating. Great stuff. Answer: I use this on my body pretty much every weekend when i'm headed to the beach - sometimes two or three times a week, and it's served me very well. May border a tad on the greasy side, but it's cheap, works well, is available at all Walgreens (one on every corner) and smells nice This is what I use on my face/skin on a daily basis, not as cheap, but not pricey either. It's a moisturizer with spf built in, and it's amazing stuff. Organic, light, non-greasy and great for skin. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
