Do you drink Coffee or Tea?
Question:
Well my office just got a Keurig coffee machine...Now why did they have to do that. I was already drinking guiness book of record amounts daily as it was. Every time I pass that darn machine...its its like it calls out to me. The thing is there are all these amazing flavors...Iza got it bad...LOLOLOLOL. I knew I had a coffee addiction when all I am thinking about when preparing to travel overseas is looking at my starbucks card and getting to the first one.(No starbucks in Bermuda...crap) Oh mama mia...I loooooveeee that place. Pumpkin spice latte - in the winter Apple cider Caramel Macchiato... So tell me how many coffee drinkers are out there...or do you prefer tea? Live Your Life. Otto Answer: I really love both. I have only a simple grinder and a low budget coffee machine, but it can really turn out some great stuff. From Illy to Yemeni mochas, to Nicaraguan and Costa Rican beans, coffee is my friend. Tea is also great. My wife's family drinks tea all day long...green tea with cardamom. I have been known to enjoy a pot of Moroccan, or better yet, Mauritanian style green tea. All in all, the two beverages are my favorites next to crystal clear water and freshly squeezed juice. Answer: I drink both. I have my own dual espresso/drip coffee machine, and I grind my own beans. I drink more tea, though. I probably have 4 cups a day of various green teas, and various Traditional Medicine teas. Answer: I am a big fan of tea. I only like the smell of coffee at certain times of the day but not the taste. I drink all kinds of teas but I have been slacking lately because of the warmer weather. I am a spoon and a half of honey adder. That is all I need. Answer: I cannot live without coffee. I grind my own every morning - Starbucks French Roast. Tea is OK for later in the evening, usually herbal with valerian, or chai with Indian food. Answer: I LOVE coffee. I'm absoutely addicted. But not to the caffeine, to the flavor and the smell. I don't even drink much. Only one cup in the morning, but I look so forward to it. I have a coffee press and used it for a while. Makes very smooth coffee, but too much work. I use a simple Mr. Coffee drip maker to brew exactly 1 12-14oz cup for myself in the morning. Dunkin Donuts house blend, 1/2 decaf - 1/2 regular mixed, freshly ground. I have to have my fresh DD coffee every morning. And where I live, I have to order it online - there's not a DD within at least 100 miles of me. But you know what, it doesn't quite taste the same as the their in-store brewed coffee. Why is that? Does it have something to do with my coffee maker? The temp of the brewer? The type of water? I know it's the exact same coffee because I've seen them put it into their coffee makers. Of course I'd use nothing but Jamaican Blue Mountain if I could afford it. There's no better coffee IMO. I tried a brand of JBM coffee once about 10 years ago that some day I will find again. It is my holy grail. It was very rich and had a smokey espresso flavor to it but no bitterness whatsoever. I coworker brought it to work with him and brewed it for the rest of the employees. It had been brought back straight from Jamaica by his mother. I don't know the brand name and I haven't yet found a store-bought brand that even comes close. One day maybe I'll make a trip to Jamaica to try every different brand I can get my hands on. I drink tea too but I'm not so fanatical about tea. I drink various flavored/herbal teas and iced tea (Nestea decaf). Answer: Tea. Almost exclusively tea and almost always Fanciest Taiwanese Oolong loose leaf (I buy in bulk from Adagiotea.com), to the tune of about 50 ounces brew made with spring water daily, I go through 2 pounds of it in about 5 weeks, even though I infuse the same leaves twice, the second brewing with a teaspoonful of new leaves going into the pot a couple of minutes after the old. Oh, a cup or two on occasion of fresh home ground coffee is OK, usually Dunkin Donuts whole bean as it is consistently good for the price, but tea for the most part. I will sometimes brew Japanese green or Darjeeling white or rarely some Double Bergamot black, but always loose leaf and as high a quality as I can afford and drink it without lemon or dairy introduced except for a splash of 2% milk in the Double Bergamot black. Answer: Yup, hybrid here also. I'm drinking Keemun Finest tea at the moment, but it was hellishly expensive stuff. But I also like coffee. I grind my own beans and brew it in an espresso pot on the stove. Arabica only, of course. I then have it with heated goat's milk. Superb! Why goat's milk, I hear you ask? I discovered that you can heat goat's milk just a few degrees higher than you can heat cow's milk. Cow's milk tends to break up and "boil" a few degrees lower than goat's milk, so that it is quite difficult with the former to get the coffee at the right temperature. Cow's milk lattes are almost always too low in temperature for my taste. Goat's milk lattes have a terrific flavour to them. Coffee is interestingly unreliable though: you can have a brilliant cup of coffee one day but not be able to recreate it again. It tends to set you off on the quest to recreate that "hit". Answer: Both. Coffee in the morning, black and unsweetened. Do not want anything in my coffee, but coffee. Have NEVER spent a penny at Starbucks and proud of it! Heard that Espresso machines with fancy filters, milk heaters and frothers and all bells and whistles are very popular in Europe now, but I would rather save up and buy me another smellie. Teas, black, herbal, green, hot or iced, during the day. No black tea for me at bedtime -- I will be tossing and turning till morning, and who wants the grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrouchy wolf in the morning? I do not! Answer: I'll just add that the smell of coffee goes particularly well with Vendetta pour homme! (Must be the labdanum!) Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
