Having a mixed kind of skin (that alternates oily T-zone with dry sensitive eyes and bones zone) I know well both problems.
Both Clarins and Lancome men's line have pretty good washing gel that don't dry skin and don't let the skin "shine". They're also non comedogenic (I had also this kind of problem in the past!)

I normally use whatever facial cleansing in gel form I can find , baby wash works well too
(body wash gels contain deodorants, not really good for your mug), I'd steer clear from soap bars also as they leave soap scum on your face,
(stay away from the nivea facial wash for oily skin though, it dries the hell out of your skin)
and here is a little trick (I usually do it once, sometimes twice per week)
after I washed my face I'd use a couple of drops of lemon juice, since the water where I live is hard *(it helps removing calcium buildup), than apply to wet face and rinse it out.
After you dry your face and apply whatever moisturizer works for you, alright?!

Thanks... Have you tried Cetaphil cleanser? It's top-rated by most dermatologists as being really gentle. It's a creamy liquid, but doesn't lather up like soap or foaming cleansers, so don't expect it to. It's non-drying and great for sensitive skin too; I even use it to wash my baby son's skin.
As a total aside, one of it's ingredients helps to prevent fungal infections and I know some guys (athetes) who use it in the shower to wash their groin area (sorry, don't know what the PC term should be on this site) to prevent jock-itch.

I use Zirh Face Clean and find that as a very good one. I got a sample of it when I bought something online on a New website here in Australia, and tried it. Lvoed it and had to order it. u also like Phytomers face.
