Most stylish woman
Question:
I watched Audrey Hepburn over the weekend in 'Paris When it Sizzles' an early 60's film (no doubt you all know it) exquisitely presented and showing 'Audrey style' almost at its best. Arguably 'Charade' shows her style at its absolute best.
I started thinking that she was/is probably the most stylish woman of the 20th Century. ÊWho else comes close? ÊJackie Kennedy/Onasis, Grace Kelly, Diana Princess of Wales? Ê
The 'marriage' with Hubert was made in heaven!
Am I right or am I right?

Answer:
If we're voting, I'd have to put my vote in for Catherine Deneuve: she mesmerizes me (and she's one of us ).

Answer:
Another vote for divine Catherine! :-*

Answer:
Excellent question!
Audrey no doubt is outstanding!
Others I find to be inpeccable are:
Ingrid Bergman
Julie Delpy
Jane Birkin
Iman , Bowie's lady is just amazing and I think she«s like 40+!!!!
Christy Turlington, curse that Ed Burns!
Early Shirley MacLaine, for instance in Billy Wilder's The apartment is extremely stylish and cute!
Sophie Marceau is breathtaking.
And for something really contemporary I must say Scarlett Johanssen, needless to say I«m developing an unhealthy crush for her....

Is Carolina Herrera your mother?
I suppose the problem with this question is that we only really focus on people in the public eye.

if Mando were on here, he would agree! Quite a beautiful and stylish woman.
This thread echoes an article I saw in this month's Details magazine called "Gay Icons then and now" or something like that.

Answer:
Audrey Hepburn certainly comes to mind first. Carolina Herrera is a good call as well. Unfortunately, her daughters didn't inherit her same sense of elegance. For the young and modern though, I'd have to pick Queen Rania of Jordan.
