Well I just got my first pair of Diesel jeans, so I guess I can be a label whore now Anyway they feel amazing. Theyre almost as comfortable as a pair of slacks, and they look great with my Diesel shoes. Anyway they're nothing fancy just simple and black very tasteful.

I remember how I used to sneer about "designer" jeans back in the late sixties, clinging tenaciously to Levis for another few decades until finally I ceased wearing the heavy denim altogether.
In recent years I've overcome my obstinacy and now can fully appreciate these Calvin Klein twill jeans. Not what I usually think of as "jeans" since they are not denim, but much nicer, smooth and light, and provided in colors.
The standard Calvins don't fit any better than Levis, are too stiff and heavy, but at least are a bit softer (sometimes).
Jeans ain't what they used to be. (bell bottom days)

I will say that I used to be a Levi's 501's man only, but once I tried the Mossimo, I'm converted. A big plus for me is they have a button fly, which I really prefer. They also fit better on me and are a bit softer denim. Ê I love Mossimo .. there was a bootcut ltd edition blue faded-dirty wash jean that fits so well that I have considered custom made jeans in identical cuts. Too bad that style is not available anymore or even in other colors

I keep meaning to try Diesel and 2xxist (as I like their undies) buyt haven;t gotten around to it yet.
In the meantime I am a fan of the Indigo Blue (Tommy Bahama) jeans. Great material, great fit and a very fair price.

I used to wear Girbaud "skinny cowboy" jeans only. Then I got a pair of Diesels that turned out to be a knockoff of Levi's 501s, so when I wore them out I bought 501s (not quite as good as the Diesel) and have been wearing them ever since.
I'm spoiled for button flys now. I like the look of Diesels still so when fall comes I might buy a pair. I also want to try APCs after Mike's good words on them.
Otherwise I'm 501s all the way. At the start of the summer I bought a pair of white ones. Yow they are bright. Wearing them is like getting a cop car's mobile spotlight shined on you. I wish the weather would cool down so I could wear jeans again.

Well I got some Classic Cut Vintage Helmut Lang's off eBay...and wow they fit wonderful and have a very nice wash. I can't believe how cheap these are online. Also I got a couple pairs of Buffalo and they are probably the only pair of boot cut jeans I've ever liked. absolutely perfect fit.

I would go with Paper Denim & Cloth or Seven Jeans, both have nice slim fit bootcuts that are comfortable, durable, and stylish.
