Favorite Jeans? - Page 2
Question:
jeans are by far my fav piece of clothing.
I like seven bootcuts and diesel rabox the best. they are tight, but not too tight, and not tapered or extreme bootcuts like some other brands. i have a pair or 2 of paper denims but i feel the ankle hole is too big and unless u have a big pair of boots u will step on the ankle

Answer:
Guess? jeans give me the best fit - I have no butt and need a lower rise.

Answer:
I like my Mossimo jeans from Target...but I'm pretty cheap when it comes to clothes, as I buy most of my stuff from TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross and Target.
I will say that I used to be a Levi's 501's man only, but once I tried the Mossimo, I'm converted. A big plus for me is they have a button fly, which I really prefer. They also fit better on me and are a bit softer denim.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I went to a second hand store and picked up a nice pair of Edwin's that I need to alter, and I got a pair of Replays, Buffalo and Diesel off eBay for a pretty good price. Thanks for the tips

Answer:
If I were a woman I'd be in rap videos. For a guy who has under 10% body fat and a lot of muscle I got one hell of a booty. So I am limited in jean selection. I like Diesal since they have so many cuts and designs in their New york store SOMETHING WILL FIT eventually. I was blown away by Express jeans since I dont like Express clothes. The jeans for their price were excellent. Great fit, nice slick designs, and durable. I used to love Mossimo shirts in my raver days I may check out the jeans. No Levi has ever fit me right, they either ride high on the crotch or tight on the butt. I NEED SPACE ON BOTH ENDS!! Lucky makes great jeans as well but I dont see the price as justifiable. And though it kills me since I dislike the man and the company, CK still makes formidable jeans. I plan on trying 2Xist since EVERYONE raves about them.
Regards,
Al

Has anyone tried Earl Jeans for men? A couple of years ago Earl jeans were all the rage for women (albeit tall, slim women) and a men's line was released. Haven't heard much about it since.

Answer:
my friend bought a pair last year - i thought they were very expensive at nearly 200 quid. the material was lovely (for those who can't be bothered to wear them in) - just nicely faded, without the obvious fading in big patches that some cheaper jeans end up doing. wasn't too sure about the shape he chose - but they do different cuts.
i think the paper denim look the best, but again - far too expensive at £170.

Haven't heard much about it since. As far as I know, Earl jeans never really caught on for men. There are a few fans out there, but I'm not one of them. I have one pair of distressed Earl jeans but I rarely wear them.
I'm a huge fan of jeans and I rarely wear shorts so I own many a pair, in many different styles to fit my eclectic taste in fashion. Cavalli, Diesel, Levi's, Fake London, Express, AEO, D&G, Calvin Klein, Energie, DSquared, Gianfranco Ferre, Paper Denim, Michiko Koshino, Mavi and Helmut Lang are among my favorite brands to wear, but after trying a lot of what's out there, by far the most comfortable and best looking on me are Abercrombie & Fitch, hands down.

£200 for a pair of jeans? The world has gone mad.

Answer:
I used to wear Levis 501 too:-) but stopped buying because they are too high waist to me now. I also found out lately, while "recut" the old jeans, that all my Levis have "twisted legs" - their cut is not that good then.
Now I have made myself from a Levis 505 an inside out jeans that could be worn in 2 diff. ways. Very CdG or Martin Margiela, hihi. I feel esp. good when I saw a MM 658$ inside-out jeans in aloharag.com:-) that is now on sale for half that price).
Sometimes the jeans are that expensive because the use of japanese denim, hand dyed...... If a Tshirt could cost 100 L, jeans could 200 L as well, Mike_C. I'll buy if they cost me 50euro:-))
