Favorite Jeans? - Page 9
Question:
most gap...
i'm not into "designer" jeans...
i got the gough selvedge jean, morrison tapered, basic straight, and basic straigh in left weave. all from gap....all $20 each

Answer:
Because of my height (I'm roughly 6 foot / 190 cms tall), I tend to find jeans a bit of a problem. However brands such as Levi have always catered for my needs - it's usually the designer brands that fail to do this (and I also find them quite poor, in terms of complimenting the shape of my body). I'm also a 30 inch waist, so this doesn't really help matters either (not that I'm complaining!).
My favourite jeans are Levi 200s but they've been long discontinued. However, I managed to find a couple of pairs on eBay - the total price of both were less than the very first pair that I bought (and one was brand new with tags)! These are the best fitting jeans that I've ever purchased and the quality is, IMO, better than 501s (they bag out a little too much around the thigh area, especially as they age).
I also bought my first pair of Diesel a few months ago, in Paris (I can't remember the style name but they're flared hipsters). They would be my second favourite pair of jeans (and they look even sexier on me than my 200s). However, Levi is my favourite brand for jeans. It's just a pity that the recent styles are so disappointing - more style over substance, for me.
