Answer:
I don't know enough of the candidates to make an informed full list, and I believe the ignorant probably shouldn't vote.
One name on there amazed me - Antonio. True, it's under Popular Appeal, aka Mass Market. I like so many types of scents that usually even if I don't like something I can find some merit in it, or at least grasp the concept.
But with Antonio - wow, I sampled it 2 blocks from home, and fortunately I managed to get it washed off within about 5 minutes. It took the trendy concept of fresh scents and made it as cheap-smelling as possible.
After seeing previous FiFi winners, it does make you wonder if it's simply a matter of promotion, sort of like Miramax's onslaught of payola every Oscar season. Nonetheless, I'm sure there must be quality candidates in there as well.

Answer:
hmm. different definition of niche from the one in use here.

Answer:
Lacoste essential in "Luxe" category?!

Answer:
just Terré d´Hermés i would vote...i like the votes (awards) on this site much better...thanks for everyone in here.

Of the ones proposed as finalists, Antonio is the best one (IMHO).
I think it's not that bad, and also i think we all can name at least 20 more frags that came out this year that are cheaper smelling than Antonio.
BTW, bijan black is not too bad either, but i like the other one better.
So Antonio gets my vote.
