SL Rousse for spring-summer?
Question:
I'm interested in the new one of Lutens, Rousse. Sounds wonderful, but I didn't tried yet. The most part of Lutens fragances are on the sweet-oriental side, so I wonder if the new Rousse could be a tipical "warm-weather smell", or more versatile... Answer: Rousse is wonderful, but in warm weather? Hard to tell. Cinnamon has such strong connotations as a "cozy winter" note . . .but Rousse is lighter than a lot of other Lutens, so it might just work. Answer: I wouldn't want too thick a coat in the summer time - just a squirt Answer: Absolutely; the dry down is light enough to be worn in warmer months with the aforementioned caveat of a conservative application. 78F here yesterday and I loved it.
