After all the praise on these boards I had to buy it when I saw a heavily discounted 100ml bottle locally. Initially I quite liked it - not unlike an old favourite, Nino Cerruti, I thought. But by the time I had worn it about twice as my SOTD I could not stand the sour 'gone-off' notes. So it has gone off - to a local charity shop!

I think Aramis is Classic to admire, but not to wear. I had to flogg mine on ebay as my admiration for this classic was waning, I was finding the fragrance rather too cloying for my liking.

Gres' "Cabaret." I picked up the gift set in the corset-adorned box before Xmas, sprayed it on once over the lotion, and it promptly disappeared from my skin as well as olfactory range in less than a minute. What lingered on my skin was the faint smell of bathroom deodorizer. It was just a huge disappointment all around. Luckily I only spent $15 on it.

My 1.7 oz. bottle of Mambo (that my wife bought for me 'cause she loved it and so did I, at first) got to about 2/3rds full before smelling the stuff positively made me sick to my stomach.
I'm afraid I'll have to just donate it to Goodwill or something 'cause I sure as heck can't seem to sell it! Cool bottle, though, like Pi's.
