Scents dissapear?! - Page 2
Question:
I find that if it's sillage you're after, scents tend to stay longer if you moisturize with oil instead of lotion. Or, if lotion, a matching scented lotion. My personal oil favorite is Apricot Kernel Oil-- nice and light, with quick absorption and a non-greasy feel. This helps my scents project. Otherwise, spreading out the application throughout the body helps. With some of my lighter frags, I apply at the neck, the wrists, the chest, and then behind the knees. That seems to help quite a bit, especially with the more fleeting florals.

Answer:
When I test fragrances in the stores, alot of them fade within a hour or so, but the ones I tend to buy don't. I wouldn't buy something that doesn't last, it's a waste of money. So I don't have that problem. Alot of times, we don't smell things on ourselves, but others still do.
