SotD Thursday 8 March - International Women's Day - Page 2
Question:
Czech & Speake No.88 Answer: I took the liberty of wearing Fracas in public, on this International Women´s Day. Counting myself as being a feminist, I find it somewhat embarassing that there still is a need for a special women´s day. I was early out today, and the main street in our little village was decorated with pink and red balloons to celebrate the day. Have a happy day! Wish I could smell you! There *is* no need for International Women's Day. It is an infantile novelty invented to make us feel girlishly grateful for scraps thrown. It is about as useful to women as Valentine's Day. Enjoy your day and your village, and your Fracas. Answer: Off to a seminar in Manhattan...wearing Chanel #5...wish I was in bed Answer: Exploring the wonderful notes of Hermes Eau des Marveilles, thanks to a generous b'noter. I like, I like. * Top Notes * Vetiver, Oak, Cedar, Middle Notes * Ambergris, Base Notes * Lemon, Orange, Elemi, Pink Pepper, Answer: A Thank You to Comdiva, I'm wearing the delicious, leathery Fleurs de Peau by Keiko Mecheri Me likey!! My Kingdom for another guinea pig But it is certainly a scent worthy of Women's Day! Let's celebrate!! Where did you put that Kingdom??!! Never mind! That's what I call true friendship!!! Since I am starting off Guerlain Week tomorrow with the elegant L'Heure Bleue I decided to enjoy peachy, rosy Bond #9 Chinatown today - she's somewhere midway on my lust-list. Goes wonderfully well with my morning Lapsang Soochong!!! The patchouli's starting to peep through - just love this 'fume. Against all odds. (Aside to Hawk: Keep sniffin' them 'shrooms!!) Answer: Wishing all my fellow BNer's a good and fulfilling Women's Day, however each of us defines those terms! Tinker, you smell delicious! Enjoy it... And since today is my DH's birthday (appropriate for Internatinal Women's Day for me, because he makes me feel like the luckiest woman on the planet) I am wearing his two favorites today: SoTD: JL Scherrer 2 SoTE: Lutens' Un Bois Sepia Tonight we go with a group of close friends out for Indian food (always feel like I should be wearing my Kingdom ), followed by a live jazz performance. Wonderful Thursday all! YAY!! Happy Birthday to Mr. Diva, dear C. But why is adopted sister-in-law not invited? Kingdom, Indian food, jazz!! (men with saxophone's, dear Lord!!) and I am here with the tax forms!!! Answer: Since it is International Women's Day, I should be decisive. I had planned to wear No. 19, but I think something bolder would be more appropriate. However, this holiday is all about freedom of thought and deed for women, so I will wear No. 19 for the simple reason that I like it, regardless of the message it portrays about me, according to marketing departments. (Elegant, restrained, perhaps a little traditional?) No, I am none of the above. It just smells good. Love that galbanum. Love the roses. Love the powdery orris. So, I wear it with jeans and a t-shirt and take a hike outdoors. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
