Going to Hawaii... which frag to take?
Question:
Well, I'm going to be on the Big Island of Hawaii one week from now. First, we're going to Hilo, then to the volcanoes, and finally to the Kona Coast. As many a Basenoter would do, I was thinking about which scent in my collection that I should bring along (decanted, of course).
So, I'm trying to decide between bringing along Black XS, Mugler Cologne, Gramercy Park, or Angel Men Summer Flash. There's a poll, so vote now!
P.S.: Are there any good local niche fragrance houses in Hawaii?

Answer:
The fruity black XS might be appropriate for this trip !

Answer:
Oh My Gosh! Someday, I will get there. If I were to go, I would not take much because I'd bring a truck load home.

Answer:
Not too familiar with the ones you propose... My favorite for Hawaii is Hugh Parsons Traditional (also known as Blue, from the color of the bottle). It's very fresh and kind of juniper-woody in the base. Very refreshing in warm weather.

Answer:
I voted for Mugler cologne. Light, fresh, nice... you can wear it pretty much anytime. Gramercy Park wouldn't be bad, either, except I find that trying to travel with those large star-shaped Bond bottles is nearly impossible.

Answer:
Your selections are good! Hey, how about Creed Virgin Island Water?
I'd recommending checking with IMaverick. Super nice guy in Honolulu with whom I've traded stuff.
Have a great trip.

Answer:
Black XS all the way!!!

Answer:
Summer Flash!

Answer:
Black XS might get too sticky in the hot weather. I'd go with Mugler Cologne instead.
OR you could change your mind from those listed and bring Aqua de Bulgari. I say that because I had a hell of an adventure in Hawaii one night while wearing Aqua. Not only was the night ridiculous and really fun, but the scent blended well with the Hawaiian evening.

Answer:
Mugler for certain.
