99 Regent Street
Question:
Pardon my ignorance......but who makes this fragrance? Much appreciated. Answer: Originally Posted by Michael Picasso Pardon my ignorance......but who makes this fragrance? Much appreciated. Hugh Parsons. There's "Yellow" and "Blue". Answer: There's Yellow and Blue AND there's also 99 Regent Street. The last is the only one I have ever seen in a department store in the States. Joe Answer: Originally Posted by dr.creed Hugh Parsons. There's "Yellow" and "Blue". Thank-you Doc!!! Answer: Both Traditional (blue) and 99 Regent Street can be found at Nordstrom in the US. Both really good solid scents. Answer: To clarify some things... To the best of my knowledge, there are only 2 Hugh Parsons fragrances... There is "Hugh Parson's Traditional", which is the one commonly referred to as Blue, because it is in a blue bottle. Then there is "Hugh Parsons 99 Regent Street", which is commonly referred to as Yellow, because it is in a yellow bottle. Hugh Parsons Traditional (blue) says "Regent Street, London" right on the front of the bottle. This misleading address, combined with the easy-to-identify as a color bottles are what makes it confusing for some. I can't find the "Yellow" at Nordstrom, though. I just got a surprise sample in the mail yesterday (!) and so far, I'm likening it to a more managable verson of Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet. Answer: If you go to perfumebay.com...they list 3 Hugh Parsons Scents I have not seen Yellow Edition at Nordstrom, but have seen the other two. Traditional (Blue) 99 Regent Street Yellow Edition http://www.perfumebay.com/brands-h-hugh-parsons.html Answer: No shit!... I guess I stand corrected! Welllll then....Anyone have some 99 Regent street for me to try?! That is a real surprise to me! Answer: I ordered 99 Regent St. last week, and was sent Traditional Blue instead, which I already have. I was bummed. I am gonna sample 99 Regent St. in Dallas later this month. I will score some samples. If you still have not had a chance to try it by then, I will send you a sample. Answer: I've never even HEARD of this line...what do they smell like guys?
