Wal-Mart is a blight on the surface of this planet. Of the top five richest people in America, 4 of them are Waltons. They invented twisted hourly work so you don't qualify for benefits and they'd rather close a store than have a union rep organize an up or down vote for a union.
From a really practical standpoint, if saving 5 dollars helps you eat better and get your prescriptions and get some enjoyment out of life I'd say go for it.

Walmart is just another symbol of modern day America. Give me in one stop everything I need cheap, fast, and don't make me think. The 'experience and complexity' in all of our lives has been ripped out in favor of convenience, fast, and cheap at all cost. We want our religion, food, commodities, and relationships streamlined for us. Walmart is an icon of modern American life.
