A picture of your Royal English Leather?
Question:
Hi guys, Is there anyone who owns a bottle of Creed's Royal English Leather and could post me a picture of it? I bought a bottle last week and it's not that I'm doubting it's authenticity but I really expected it to be much darker of color. I'll post mine as soon as my girlfriend gets back with the camera Answer: http://bp2.blogger.com/_53FU9UAobMg/...0/PICT7065.JPG That's a fluorescent white piece of paper behind it. However, the color of the REL is about right. It would not surprise me if the color of batches varied a little. I would trust the smell if you have a reliable sample to compare. Well, if that server won't deliver the image to you, my apologies. It has started blocking me. Answer: Mine is quite similar to Tuner_Watson's (except that it has no cap)...and damn, that bottle looks gorgeous! Great pic Watson ! Answer: Crap, mine is definately lighter and too me it smells more powdery than the decant I had. When did you buy this? Perhaps I should look for a newer or an older bottle. Answer: I got mine at the beginning of 2006 from a reliable retailer. Best of luck! Answer: Thanks for the info! My color is more like this one (my router has broken down so not internetz at home to post my own bottle). I did a comparison yesterday between the last drop in my decant and my new bottle. The darker REL in the decant smelled sweeter and I detect a little bit more wood (perhaps sandalwood, if that's one of the ingredients?). My new, lighter colored version is heavier on the Creed-note and also a little more true to leather (I smell a faint resemblance to Trumpers' Spanish Leather Cologne). All in all the differences are not that upsetting, and it even pleases me a bit because you might see it as the unpredictability of the natural ingredients... I hope Answer: Mine is quite dark - the same shade as Royal Delight. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
