Question:
Hi all. Sorry for all the questions..but I really need people's comments on their experiences with deodorants and matching cologne.
I want to get the deodorant sticks for Guess Man and Chanel Plat. Egoiste
They are both 18 dollars each.
I use Crystal rock as a scentless deodorant. I use Speed Stick over it lightly to make sure theres no BO..but the thing is, i only wipe it once and I can smell that speed stick for about 3 hours...and that's 4 dollar deodorant. and i have 3 layers of clothes on.
That made me wonder, would matching deodorants for my two fav. fragrances make it stand out more? would those designer deodorants last longer than 4 dollar deodorant?

p.s. i was thinking that for about 40 dollars i could even buy another cologne..but i'm content with what i have now, as those 2 colognes i mentioned at pretty much 98% full still.

What scent speedstick are you using?
I use the musk (brown cap) and it seem to work not only as a deoderant, but with just about any frag.

i just think it would be cool to have matching deodorants...but if they aren't worth it, i'll stick with what i have...i cant really "test" it out b/c i can't return a deodorant with hairs on it and obvious that its been used. heh.

Strangely, for some reason, most deodorants don't work that well on me.

I never use deodorant or antiperspirant. Maybe that's why I receive so many compliments, but that's another thread.
I've owned frag/deo combos in the past and never noticed much of a difference when using another deo with the frag.
To answer your question, I have a friend who loves fresh scent deodorant. Save your money and buy the cheap, freshly-scented deodorant.

I went ahead and purchased the deodorants. I had a little discount card for macys so i thought..what the heck.
The Chanel Plat. Egoiste has alcohol in it..So I'm expecting that one to project well.
The Guess is alcohol free..so I'll see about that one..
Both smell stronger than their EDT counterparts though.
I will update in a few days of testing. I will be using them on top of Crystal Rock deodorant.
