Its more of a campfire scent. Answer: Ah, I thought you meant a scent that another house/designer pirated! Shark repellant! Answer: Idole by Lubin might be the one you are looking for. Woody and spicy scent with undertones of very appropriate notes of rum and leather. It also has cumin in it, which sometimes has this body odour vibe to it, not so much in this scent, unfortunately. Ah yes... but even coffee can create many images... Some think of coffee as the smell of a local starbucks. You may think of smoky coffee as the smell of a campfire. Others may think of coffee in the context of times gone by when it was still something very exotic, brought home by merchants and explorers on the backs of camels or in sailing ships (which then extends to pirates). I think that is the imagery the writer was refering to. This is consistent with the imagery that L'Artisan are trying to create on their website: "A surprising blend that stimulates the spices discovered by the courageous navigators in the wedge of caravels…" ... and, correct me if I'm wrong (my French sucks), but doesn't Eau des Iles mean something like "island water" - refering to an exotic island? I don't usually like to make assumptions about why people think what they do (especially with something as subjective as fragrance imagery), but as zztop asked a very fair question, I felt that an assumption was required. I hope I did the writer of the blog justice... Answer: Lacoste PH. Plenty of Jamaican rum in the base. Answer: L'Eau de Navigateur, aarrrrrrrrr. Alright, I know that is too easy, like saying Dzing! smells like a circus... Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
