Which newly released colognes (1 year or less) have caught your attention? what are you looking forward to and what have you purchased?
give your reviews of the new scents, i'm really interested to hear from you guys as i want to pick up something new.

I suspect I'm not going to be entirely original by saying - Terre d'Hermes. I also really like Lux by Mona di Orio which was released last year. You'll find dozens of good descriptions of TdH in the directory and on the threads. Lux is excellent - ripe lemon on a silky smooth base of sandalwood and amber.

I'll have to 2nd michaeld39 on the Terre d' Hermes, but it was my only recent new release purchase. So far, I like it a lot, but not in love with it yet. I think summer will be the true test of this frag.

What has caught my attention:
Elixir des Merveilles (Hermes) - yeah it's a woman's scent guys...but it's amazing...chocolate covered candied orange peel drying down to a sea salty scent.
Velvet Rope (Apothia) - ya gotta like smoke (or ash) to appreciate this one, but I instantly liked the vanilla & smoke combo & found it to be gourmand-ish which totally threw me, with a name like Velvet Rope...

I'm really happy with Kiss Him from the Rock group Kiss. Much better and very different then what you would expect from the Rock Group Kiss.

I really liked a few that have come out recently. The top three are: L'Homme by YSL, Prada Man by Prada, and Ambre by Baldessarini. They are all fantastic. The YSL is going to be great fro the warmer weather coming this Spring.

Burberry London (2006)- Smoky, sweet pipe tobacco. A keeper!
