Thanks to a tip on this board I filled in the questionnaire and promptly received an email from Helene at Frederic Malle. There followed two free samples of the perfumes chosen for me - Noir Epices and Une Fluer de Cassis, accompanied by a hand-written letter. That's what I call excellent service. I will be ordering a proper bottle of Noir Epices from them very soon.

I received samples of Noir epices and Musc Ravangeur within about one business week of taking their little quiz Told 'em that here I can't even get Jicky, nevermind something less mainstream.
Looking at my test answers, though, you'd think I had the budget of a Paris Hilton, rather than scrounging about in childrens departments for the taller sizes, trying to stretch the equivalent of about 30€ on my semi-annual shopping "binges"
I vaguely wonder if that had anything to do with the promptness with which I received my samples.
I do love Musc Ravageur... no idea how the hell I'm going to afford it.

Today I tried my sample of Musc Ravangeur.To begin with it smelled a lot like lavender and lemon.After a while it turned into a spicy scent.Mostly clove and pepper on me.....and now hours later the drydown really smells like chocolate! It's funny how a scent can go from fresh and turn into sweet a chocolatey!I like this one a lot,but it's not what I expected...Eager to try Epices Noir now.
