Kouros variations
Question:
I am a big recent fan of Kouros, including most of it's variations.
I have been able to find all of them online except for Kouros Eau de Sport. I know it is in the directory as 'discontinued', but can anyone tell me where I may be able to purchase a bottle of this one from?
(And yes, I am planning on getting a decant from scentemental, I just want to know where - or if - I can buy a bottle from after I road test a decant.)

QE Hey!
I'm a fan of Kouros line also, but I only have the original Kouros and Body Kouros.
Tell me, how do you like the rest of them?
Is there any use in buying Cologne Sport and Eau D'Ete versions?
I see you're from Australia. So are you okay with wearing original Kouros in heat?

Answer:
Kouros: (one of) the ultimate unashamedly masculine scents. Great anytime really, but kind of blossoms unexpectedly in summer.
Kouros Fraicher: Wore it today at work. Fantastic. As the name suggests, a "fresher" version. Works a treat in the heat.
Kouros Cologne Sport: Works great in both heat and/or if you are active and the blood is pumping. A different, smoother kind of masculine. Worth buying IMHO.
Kouros Eau d'Ete: A vibrant, fresh, minty version. Very difficult to over-apply, more of a casual scent but nonetheless suitable for almost all occasions. Worth Buying.
The only ones I haven't tried yet are the Cologne Sport Eau d'Ete and Eau de Sport.
All in all, I reckon a great set of additions to any wardrobe, provided that they are not the ONLY one's in there. In my opinion, one of YSL's best ever productions all round, not only as far as longevity is concerned, but also for sheer masculinity.

QE Useful information, thank you
Still, I guess it's not necessary owning both Kouros and one of the lighter versions since the original is great in summertime (as I have learned from the posts here).

Answer:
Wow, I also want to try Kouros d'Ete... A minty version of Kouros seems to be nice!! But what about its longevity?

Answer:
Keep in mind that Kouros Fraicheur, while being slightly fresher, is dirty as hell at the same time, imo much dirtier than Kouros. It's a really cool scent that I wore out a few times but didn't feel was me. Worth trying. None of these scents are good blind buys. The good news though is that you can get most of them for cheap online.

Answer:
I agree with you Giraffe. For me Kouros fraicher is lighter than the original one, but still acquired taste. It's less spicy and more woody but as strong as it can get.

Answer:
I don't think any of them can match the longevity of the original, with the possible exception of Body Kouros. Curiously enough, whilst BK seems to have no connection to Kouros except in name only, I thought (or perhaps imagined? wishful thinking?) I smelt a tiny whiff of Kouros in there one day...
As for the Eau d'Ete - longevity is not as good as the original. I tend to use it like a tonic, and liberally spray maybe three times a day, circumstances allowing.
The_Giraffe, what do you mean by your reference to Kouros Fraicher as being "dirtier"? In what way? I wore it the other day, and found it much easier to wear than the original, and fresher, but still with the original's "punch".
I do think they all have their place, but maybe six? seven? variations is a bit excessive!
But then, what the heck - if they smell good, why not?

Answer:
I love Body Kouros, but I really don't think it should be a Kouros. It's a vanilla, nothing like the other Kouros.
